AI Reshapes Engineering Insurance Risk Control, Shenzhen Ruijie Reveals the Path of Industry Intelligent Transformation

Recently, the 8th Academic Symposium on Engineering Risk and Insurance Research, hosted by the Engineering Risk and Insurance Research Subcommittee of the China Civil Engineering Society, was successfully held in Shenzhen. This conference, which brought together top experts in the field of engineering risk and insurance from both domestic and abroad, focused on the application of cutting-edge technologies and innovations in risk management paradigms.

Li Zhiyang, an expert from the Insurance Risk Control Business Center of Shenzhen Ruijie Technology Co., Ltd., attended this grand event and delivered a special report titled 'Practical Cases of Construction Engineering Insurance Risk Management Based on AI Technology' at the sub-forum. He shared Shenzhen Ruijie's innovative practices and successful experiences in using AI technology to enhance construction engineering insurance risk management, which prompted attendees to deeply reflect on the transformation of traditional engineering insurance risk management models.

Li Zhiyang pointed out that construction projects have long cycles, involve numerous specialized fields, and have complex and variable risk factors. With the rapid development of the construction insurance industry, traditional risk management methods can no longer meet the growing demand for risk prevention and control. In this context, AI technology, with its powerful data processing and analysis capabilities, brings new opportunities and solutions for risk management in construction insurance.

Shenzhen Ruijie has built a complete construction engineering insurance risk management system based on AI technology. At the risk identification level, Shenzhen Ruijie, leveraging years of accumulated risk control methodology, has established a comprehensive AI risk perception system through multi-dimensional methods such as 'view, identify meaning, and identify sound,' combined with on-site surveys by engineers, to comprehensively identify risks of the target; at the risk analysis level, based on Shenzhen Ruijie's data BI system, a multi-source heterogeneous data resource pool has been constructed, and through data labeling and standardization, a comprehensive insurance risk control data model has been built to provide integrated warning models for insurance front-end underwriting and process risk control; at the solution level, based on the Ruijie Engineering Hospital data platform, comprehensive risk management solutions are provided for insured enterprises and insurance companies, achieving full-process management from risk discovery, risk analysis, risk tracking to risk closure.

Shenzhen Ruijie's practice demonstrates a clear path: through AI technology, engineering risks are transformed from uncontrollable to controllable, and from post-incident handling to pre-incident prevention. This not only reduces the occurrence of accidents but also reshapes the value chain of the entire engineering insurance industry—the insurance company and the client are no longer simply in a contractual relationship, but become partners in jointly managing risk.
